Ender's Game:
In this book, a boy named Ender goes to Battle School in outer space. There he is put into a team of people all older and with more experience than him. He has to fight battles in an arena with no gravity to simulate what it is like to fight in space. 13 Reason's Why: In this book, a girl named Hannah sends tapes to a lot of people explaining why she committed suicide. Each person she sends them to did something that contributed to her killing herself. If the person doesn't listen to them and pass them on to the next person, the tapes will be released to the public and everyone will know why she committed suicide and the people who made her feel like she had to. Looking for Alaska: In this book, Miles goes a boarding school that his dad went to. His roommate, nicknamed the Colonel, gives him a new name (Pudge) and quickly becomes his friend. Pudge soon meets the Colonel's other friends and falls in love with one of them. The Watchmen In this book, there are a lot of characters that are all former superheros or "masked heroes". Being a hero is now not allowed unless you work for the government. Someone has been killing masked heroes. The entire book is a question of ethics and what is right and what is wrong. |
